Policies, Payments & Refunds

What forms of payment do you accept?

For online classes, group programs and virtual 1:1 services I accept all major credit cards.  Payments are processed securely through Stripe or Square.

Payment via Paypal may sometimes be available for one-time payments on online transactions.  It is not currently an option for payment plans or subscriptions.

For on-site services I can accept all major credit cards, cash, Paypal or Venmo.  Full balance is due at time of service.

 

What is your refund policy?

Online (Live or Pre-recorded) Classes, Courses and Programs:  Refunds are NOT offered, due to the nature of digital content.  (This information is also displayed on each product description sales page, each registration page, each checkout page and the Terms & Conditions Page.)  If you are experiencing an issue preventing access to your purchased material or if you have questions before purchasing, you may send an email to: [email protected] for support.  If severe issues with our (Love Home Life) technology and/or some unforeseen event or circumstances forces a live class meeting to be canceled or rescheduled, you will be offered the soonest possible alternative date to join and/or a full recording of the content that you'll have access to for the original amount of time specified upon purchase.

Private Consultations (Single Sessions & Packages): You may request a refund within the first 3 days of purchasing a package of private consulting sessions; however, a $150 deposit shall be retained to cover onboarding costs.  After 3 days, no refund is given.  If sessions have already been redeemed within the first 3 days, their highest original value will be deducted from the amount refunded.  (This information is included in the Client Agreement.)

Refund exception for private consultations and live group programs: If you are currently engaged in one of our live group programs that is over six months long, or in a private package, and you are unable to continue due to extreme unforeseen life events (i.e. diagnosis of serious illness, natural disaster or personal tragedy) that occur within the first half of the overall length of the program, you may send an email to: [email protected] to explain the circumstances, and a partial refund of up to 30% or deferred redemption may be granted by us on a case-by-case basis. 

 

What is your cancellation policy for private sessions?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy.  If you need to cancel a private session you can notify me by email at [email protected] at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. 

Late cancellations or no-show sessions will be forfeited at their highest current value from pre-paid packages.

How do I know if you're the right service provider for me?

My specialty and services are oriented toward accelerating self-healing and bringing relief to existing life challenges, through the energetic lens of your internal environment, external environment and lifestyle.

I am not a medical professional, nor do I provide psychotherapy.  The content within my site, classes, courses, programs and services are not intended as medical advice or as replacements to therapy.  It is your responsibility to recognize your need for and to secure any physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, financial support systems to supplement any of my classes, courses, group programs or services.  You can visit my Disclaimer page for further clarification.

What geographical areas do you serve for onsite visits?

I am based in Soquel, California and serve the general Santa Cruz County area.  You're welcome to inquire about services outside of that. 

 

How do I know if I should work with you or an interior decorator?

I am not a licensed interior decorator or designer.  If you're looking for mood boards, digital renderings, someone to shop for products or to arrange for work to be done, you'll probably want to look into hiring a decorator or designer. 

If you're looking to have your home "Feng Shui'd" as part of home improvement project or for general "good design," then you will likely want to explore other options.  I'm open to offering an initial consultation package, but my longer-term packages are reserved for supporting those who need healing support.

I AM, however, able to offer brief check-ins throughout a design process if you're working with a decorator, and can offer a Feng Shui perspective as designs are proposed and unfolding, in case you want to consider deeper intention, alignment and adjustments.

 

Are you available to join meetings with other professionals who are supporting me?

Yes, as long it's approved in advance by all involved.

 

Is there a way to learn about your past clients' experiences before I buy a package?

What kind of Feng Shui do you practice?

There are many kinds; I practice Essential Feng Shui® (based on Western School), and I specialize in its use for improved health, vibrant living and self-actualization.

This approach tends to be more yin and fluid, and works with the context of you and your current circumstances, rather than strictly adhering to "Feng Shui rules."  I work with a specific kind of a Bagua Map, and do not use a compass or directions in my approach.

 

How long will it take to feel relief or change in my life with your approach?

It varies widely.  The majority of my clients have experienced significant energetic shifts anywhere from immediately to hours to days to weeks to months later. 

It's also possible that some don't feel a significant shift because they (a) haven't taken enough steps to noticeably change the energy and/or (b) aren't slowing down or present enough to notice what's shifting and/or (c) haven't yet effectively addressed other contributing factors, and/or (d) have some contributing factors out of their control.

Preparing for Private (virtual)  Sessions

What information do I need to provide for (virtual) 1:1 sessions with you?

I will need the following items in order to best support you while we work together:

  • Photos & videos of part or all of your home, and possibly surrounding property.  (This is all totally judgment-free!)
  • A floor plan (to-scale is best.)  If you have a professional one, great.  If not, I'll give you instructions to draw one.
  • Your electronic signature on a contract.
  • Payment in part or in full, depending on the service type.  (Accepted forms of payment are listed above.)  
  • During our first 1:1 call I'll ask for background information about your location, your household members, and the experiences you've had and are having in your personal and professional life that you'd like energetic support with (i.e. improving health, relationships, career, finances, home and lifestyle.)  

You can email me at [email protected] prior to purchase if you are interested in this kind of service, but can't or don't want to provide the requested information.  All information is kept private, sent through and stored in password-protected software and platforms, but know that the security is only as strong as the software and platforms can provide.

 

How quickly would I need to send you this requested information?

Photos and videos and any other requested information must be received by me at least 48 hours before our appointment, in order to allow me enough time for review and generating recommendations.  (I will send you a confirmation of receipt as soon as I see them come in.) 

If I don't receive them at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment, your appointment will be canceled and the full value of that session will be forfeited from any package that you've purchased.

 

What methods can I use to send my home photos & videos to you?

Clients often choose to use Facebook Messenger due to ease and speed of transfer, but others have used Google, WeTransfer or Dropbox.  If there's another method that you're more comfortable with, we can discuss that possibility too.

Before or at our first meeting I'll give you detailed instructions for taking the most helpful photos and videos.  (You don't have to be a skilled photographer. ;)

Know that I will not share your photos, videos or any other information you give me without your written permission, and that they are stored and sent through password-protected software and platforms; however, also know that they are only as secure in transfer and storage as the third party companies that are used claim they will be.

 

What if I'm too embarrassed of my home to send photos & videos?

This is a common concern for many, and can so often hold a person back from getting life-changing support.  I assure you that my services are totally heart-centered and free of judgment!

It's actually MORE helpful to me to see where and what kinds of messes are happening, so that I can offer you more relevant recommendations!
